In our continued pursuit of HSE excellence, ACG has partnered with Safewell Solutions, the industry leader in total breathing air management, and has invested in the award-winning, cutting-edge AGL10 Safe Breathing Air System. This system will be deployed across all ACG operations worldwide, ensuring safe, breathable air for operatives during blasting and painting activities.
The Safewell® Safeair™ AGL10-4 breathing air purification system is designed for use in hazardous environments. It purifies compressed air for respiratory protection in compliance with EN12021:2014 and exceeds Class D standards. Proper compressed air purification is essential for safeguarding the immediate and long-term health of workers, as well as maintaining legal compliance with safety regulations such as COSHH L5.
The AGL10-4 system acts as a critical safety barrier, filtering out harmful particles (validated to ISO 12500), removing water vapour and bacteria, and reducing dangerous gases like CO, CO₂, NO₂, and SO₂ to safe levels. This ensures robust protection for both employees and employers.

Pyrogel insulation system
ACG recently completed the insulation of a vessel for TCO using the innovative Pyrogel® XTE thermal insulation system.
Pyrogel XTE is the most effective high-temperature insulation material available in the industrial market—typically 2 to 5 times thinner than conventional insulation products. It is also easier to handle, store, and install, making it a preferred choice for challenging environments.
Widely used in refineries, petrochemical plants, and gas processing facilities, Pyrogel XTE is ideal for both project and maintenance work. Its versatility, efficiency, and durability make it especially beneficial during turnarounds, with significant time-saving advantages in vessels and large bore piping applications.
One of its key advantages is its hydrophobic yet breathable nature, offering superior CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation) protection by keeping assets dry for longer durations.
Pyrogel XTE delivers industry-leading thermal performance in a flexible, environmentally safe, and highly productive insulation solution—setting new standards for insulation systems worldwide.
Ulva Shield — non-metallic cladding
lva Shield is a completely sealed, waterproof system that is impact and puncture resistant, NORSOK approved, and fully compliant with British and international fire resistance standards. It also offers low smoke and toxicity emissions.
With a proven track record in the harshest offshore environments, Ulva Shield is lightweight and easy to install, requiring lower skill levels compared to metal systems and no special tools or machining.
Safe to work with, it allows easy access for corrosion inspection and can be applied over any insulation product.

Nullifire SC902
ACG was tasked with providing a solution for sourcing a PFP product that met the following requirements:
- Minimal steel surface preparation
- Application in sub-zero temperatures
- Rapid curing to allow other trades to follow up efficiently
ACG introduced an innovative, industry-leading product to the ROK.
Over 35,000 m² of Nullifire thin-film intumescent coating applied with zero delays to the project schedule.
Zero accidents or incidents.
Full compliance with the project specification under challenging circumstances. Applied product throughout the winter period with ambient temperatures as low as -30°C.
Flexible Removable PFP Jacket Systems
In conjunction with our partner AIS, ACG and AIS technical offer innovative passive fire protection and technical insulation solutions, providing extensive savings in both materials and manpower.
AIS designs, engineers, and manufactures a range of fire safety, thermal, acoustic, cryogenic, and corrosion protection solutions as fully removable products, providing an average of 35% cost savings overall, with man-hour savings of around 80%.

ACG introduces PERI system scaffolding
ACG is relentless in our search for new industry-leading innovations. In 2018, ACG researched the current scaffold system market with a view to making a major investment into a system that could provide innovative access solutions to our global business.
The result of this study led to the introduction and over 4 million USD investment into the industry-leading PERI UP System Scaffolding. The system provides:
- Modular scaffolding for erecting complex work scaffolds
- Fits in all directions: uniform, metric length and width grid arrangement of all system components of 25 cm and 50 cm; connection possibilities to the standards with 50 cm spacings
- Scaffold bay lengths: 50 cm, 75 cm, 100 cm, 125 cm, 150 cm, 200 cm, 250 cm, 300 cm
- Easy and safe assembly with the Gravity Lock: when placing the wedge head in the rosette, the wedge drops into the opening due to its weight and automatically locks
- Non-lift decking through the integrated lock against lift-off (Locking Deck); slip-resistant decks
- Level working areas without any gaps between the decks
- The rigidity of the ledger connections allows high leg loads, meaning fewer diagonals are required
- High level of working safety through the end-to-end guardrails and toe boards
- Can be used with a wide range of supplementary system components and accessories for diverse applications
